A billion acts of green are happening across the planet this week.

Earth Day Power Hour is a simple way for everyone to make a difference for one hour around Earth Day. Businesses, organizations, schools, and residents of Vancouver Island were invited to take part in the Power Hour by registering a team and their Earth Day inspired activity to participate in.

Whether it’s a big group event or a solo cleanup, you can get involved anywhere.

This cleanup is a part of a worldwide campaign to remove billions of pieces of trash from neighbourhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks — reducing waste and plastic pollution, improving habitats, and preventing harm to wildlife and humans. We’re asking YOU to pledge to clean up your local shoreline.

We’re offering prizes for most trash, biggest trash, weirdest trash, and more!

Register Your Group Here

By registering, it allows us to show participation and trash collection numbers when making environmental proposals to local government.

  • (optional)
  • Participants typically contribute a prize ranging from $50-200 value for a service or product they offer and in return will receive a prize back. These prizes make a great raffle item to give to a team member who participates in the clean up. (If yes, a team member will follow up with you to discuss)
